Why NHCC?

1) College Tuition Cost: NHCC is the least expensive private college in Oregon. The savings over four years can be substantial over other college institutions. See an admission counselor for more details at www.newhope.edu.

2) Degrees & Programs offered: We have pastoral ministry degrees along with business, counseling, and teaching concentrations. We are currently developing formal agreements with other Christian colleges for our students to be accepted into their graduate programs to receive a master’s degree in either business, counseling or teaching.

3) Smaller is better in a Christian environment: 10:1 is NHCC’s average student to professor ratio. Students can continue to receive the benefits of a family culture and campus environment with a student body of only 125 +/-

4) Acceptance: Athletes at NHCC only need to meet the following 2 of the 3 academic criteria to be athletically eligible:
a. A minimum score of 18 on the Enhanced ACT or 860 on the SAT.
b. An overall high school grade point average of 2.00 or higher on a 4.00 scale.
c. Graduate in the upper half of the student’s high school graduating class.

Also, academic scholarship $ is available for students with 3.5gpa accumulative or higher. See an admission counselor for more details at www.newhope.edu.

5) Be a Multi-Sport Athlete: We at NHCC believe in sharing athletes and encourage being a multi-sport athlete and staying involved and active all year round.

6) Guaranteed Scholarship $ Every Year Regardless of Athletic Performance: NHCC student-athletes are guaranteed $500 each semester for academic performance by receiving a 2.5gpa or higher and being in good standing with faculty and another $500 each semester for meeting a standard of excellence in exhibiting Christ like characteristics and growing in one's faith, passing the Ignite Spiritual Formation class regardless of athletic performance while attending NHCC.
